Congrats, first. And second: It wasn’t me :-)
But you shouldn’t change anything, in my opinion, exept if something is totally wrong – then write to the discussion page with a real name login. I was in the same situation some years ago. The article didn’t change much since them and now I’m happy that everything is still as short and clumsy as by the first entry because now it’s still obvious to any reader that I didn’t put me on Wikipedia by myself. Which is a little bit like putting a golden statue of yourself naked and in life size in your own living room. And doing that would reveal more about you than any wikipedia article could.
And nevertheless, it may be fun watching the interest in your person grow over the next years.

    100% agree..
I myself wasn’t sure what exactly to say about that..Do it or leave it, but KerLeone is right imho…Wikipedia should be a place where ppl write something about a specific issue or someone…it should not be a place of self-projetion…Sometimes you read an article about a scientist and you know he wrote it by himself. Hat a “Gschmäckle”
What about a Hauptseminar? ;) There’s still a thorn in my flesh regarding the unfinished Ethnologie-Artikel..damn..

That helped a lot, thank you, I’ll follow your advice and leave it as it is.
